Business Acquisitions

With broad experience in all aspects of commercial real estate law, Tessa represents developers of multi-family residential, office and retail developments. Her work includes working with developers and their lenders through all phases of a project—from forming an organizational structure, to property acquisition, to financing and leasing.  An accountant prior to becoming an attorney, Tessa has experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD financing, and serves as a title and escrow agent for several title companies.

While commercial real estate is the foundation of Tessa’s practice, she also uses her keen understanding of overall business law to help her clients with all manner of transactions, agreements and dispute resolution.  And in recent years, she has expanded her practice to assist clients with matters related to estate planning and administration.

Originally from Florida, Tessa has been a North Carolinian since moving to Cashiers as a teenager. See Full Bio >>
